Poem for Elimination of Violence Against Women Day

It was brought to my attention that November, 25th is the elimination of violence against women day, so here is a fresh poem.

A synopsis of symmetry simulating silence, while watching the blood splatter on the wall. Pretending to politely pass by but I pictured, a hole in your head while you panicked in pain. Never again will I hear screams of anger or the sound of her face being smacked by your hand, I've grown up keeping this killing conscience inside me, to save her from being your rag doll of shame. This night you will start another so called fight, because she's wrong and you're right but I'll be out of sight. Waiting in the shadows I can smell the alcohol on your breath and the shit that you have put us both through, you need to die and so it's I who will do what needs to be, when you look at her angrily and raise back your hand I will end your life with this knife, it is you who is damned. I will cut until no one can tell, the bloody mess was a human who I just sent to hell, I'll look at the blood and I'll smile oh so calm, you hurt her not me but she is my mom.
