Memories

I feel as if my time draws near but I do not feel any fear.
I've had great family and had great friends, done things my way regardless of trends.
Had fun in ways both good and bad, had hard times but for all I'm glad.
Read poetry for all to hear and bettered myself every year.
Everyone has their place but remember we're all the human race,
bad days are strangers to none but share your love with everyone.
I've found love for all living things, sadness because of what darkness brings.
I've found the love that is truly pure, it's transformed my soul and is my cure.
With a tear barely held back in my eye, I want to tell all of you goodbye.
Before I fade to be born anew, know that I love you all, Thank you.
