These days we chain to broken dreams, black ocean waters in moonbeam rays. Sky beckons to see us soar, wings buried in pyramids enshrined. Rain upon us this cleansing freedom, feathers upon the mountains of our home. When we conquer a dream we become it. Fear holds down ambition, fall down to rise above fools. Valleys of emptiness appear in your mind, rivers of knowledge flow through.

Reality?

Please don't leave me, I cannot stand the pain, without you I cannot be, the man you saw as the same. A collective unit, fit perfectly together, at least for a while, until you found better. Leaving me is your choice, but I prefer that you stay, if you leave you take my voice, what will happen I can't say. This isn't the first time we've fought, but it is the worst, happiness and truth is all I sought, now I hide in solitude. If we part then so be it, no hope for humanity, the future I cannot see it, but it's grim because you left me, sanity.

Thirst

Thirst

Never is an easy word, when compared to always, 
a pen mightier than the sword, walking down empty hallways. 
Purgatory of the mind, can't live in the future, trying not to fall behind. 
Only I can save me, I need to have it all, a mind and soul that are free, and a strong body to stand tall. 
I'm tired of fighting for part of my dream, 
I'll give my life away to reach my goals, but they are farther than they seem. 
My body drying like it's done, seems my flesh is dying, can't find a reason to be upset, can you think of one?
